How to Scan QR Codes on iPhone and Android
Most current iPhone and Android phones scan QR codes using the normal camera app. No extra app is required in most cases.
On iPhone
Open Camera, point it steadily at the code, then tap the banner that appears at the top of the screen.
On Android
Open Camera or Google Lens, point it at the code, and tap the suggested link. Some phones have a Scan QR option in Quick Settings.
Scan safely
Check the displayed web address before opening it. Avoid codes from suspicious posters, messages or unknown sources.
